Short for post office in Bosnia is PTT, which means post, telephone, telegraph and the official colour for post office and mail boxes is yellow.

I see that PTT means Post, Telephone and Telegraph. Hmm do you still have telegraph service? Singapore ended its telegram service in 2002.

This mail box looks to me as a miniature of the old Bosnian house.
It has everything. Shape is perfect, there is a wooden roof, than second floor with balcony , and first floor with entrance to the backyard (avlija)...
Btw, I haven't been fooled today...yet.

I had never seen yellow post boxes until today. I didn't know there were so many. This one is cute.
Very unusual and interesting to see from your part of the world.
So far, red, yellow and blue is the dominant colour. (I see some artistic exceptions.) This one is also unique, because of the shape.
I'm sure I have been fooled today but if I have I was not aware ... I remember from, when I lived in Belgium, that they combined the post, telephone, and telegraph ... Your yellow today complements the red from yesterday.

I love the universal letter symbol embossed at the bottom! The whole design is very well done (and hopefully as functional as it is adorable). Great shot for our theme day! I am just finally slogging through all 66 entries. . .sigh,
