This is an ancient earthenware for making salt. Tuzla's salt is one of the best in the world! Trust me on this one! (Of course I'm biased). =)

What makes it different from other salt? The texture? The taste?
Interesting process for grinding the salt. Why all the twigs in there?

And this earthenware -as you call it - is so warm, nice colour, beautifully round, decorated shape, if we only could see, who made it and also them, who made salt in it.

I have been told, the area where the town of Tuzla is used to be a sea, that for whatever reason "disappeared" (prolly plate tectonics) and left over all the salt deposits ....
The salt is pretty good since it has been removed from the salt water naturally .....

How do u tell the difference in the taste of salt? finer? saltier??;)
