Lake shells
One more detail from the beach.
I have seen some people use these shells as baits for fishing. They crash them, than put the meat on the hook and voila if they’re ‘lucky’ they’d go home with a fish, although there is a huge problem with people illegally fishing with nets and unfortunately leaving it almost empty.

How interesting to use the shells as baits.
Good example of taking a commonplace or ordinary object and making a good photograph of it! Mice!
I'm so glad I got you started on the topic of beach finds, your series there is amazing. These few shells make an excellent photo.
Here also people use them as bait.

We call these muscles and I've seen people use them here for bait too. Evidently they work.
is the meat not tasty enough for humans? some ginger,chilli,garlic,olive oil will make it a delicacy
though the beach isn't very nice but you made it very interesting by showing us what your eyes see.
but, how do these shells work as bait? I wonder...hmm.
