City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Wood logs

This is a typical 'old' Bosnian house and this is a common site at this time of the year. People are preparing for colder days, chopping up the wood to use for heating in the winter on the countryside. This photo is taken just outside of the city where there isn't any central heating.
You can see a haystack just behind a house as the one I shown you two weeks ago.

Imagine temperature below zero, snow high up to your knees and you are sitting by the fire having a drink, laugh... Well I'm 'slowly' adapting to the autumn and still longing for the hot weather.

Have a good week guys.

We burn wood where I live but it is rarely for heat. Often homes will have fireplaces with built-in gas fires with fake wood. The goal is a relaxing evening in front of the fire without the effort or mess.

On trouve beaucoup de maisons comme cela dans les villages de montagne française.
ils ont interet de bien preparer l'hivers, qui doit etre assez rude par chez toi

The building is picture perfect! Sounds like the climate out there is WAY different than out here in Las Vegas! I can't imagine having to chop wood!
