City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Sidewalk creatures

What one does to stop people parking cars on the sidewalk? Well in this city mostly nothing, but sometimes these yellow creatures are given life to allow pedestrians to have enjoyable and safe walk.

Does your city have the same problem or are we alone?

Vegas just puts a fence up on the strip so that people don't go out on the street, especially on the strip. Everywhere else we don't really have this problem! But I love the photo!

I like these little yellow half-balls and likely they do their job quite well.

This is my kind of shot. I love progressions. Those bumps could also be a hazard to pedestrians. I guess its trying to decide if the glass is half empty or half full.

In Singapore, we have something similar, but the poles that are until around waist height are all in front of bus stops.

It is to prevent vehicles crashing into bus stops accidently and kill people.

Interesting photo. In Sarajevo the authorities are trying to do something similar, but the cars are still all over the sidewalks.
