City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Open Air Cinema


Open air cinema has been put up on the 'Salty Square' with collaboration of 'Sarajevo Film Festival' showing the movies from the festival.

First film that was shown last night was 'The Road to Guantanamo' directed by Michael Winterbottom and the film 'Hell' by Danis Tanovic will be shown on the last night on Tuesday.

Lot’s of people showed up, very busy, nice evening.

Yes I saw the movie in London just recently, last night I was around and about with friends but never the less it was a great happening here.

By the way film is great, poignant.

ahhh did u upgrade to the google blog? looks kewl - we used to have a lot of these types of open outdoor movie theatres but they are slowly disappearing - th most popular one now is the one in waikiki

Kala - yes i did upgrade to the google blog, at first it was ok but now i can't leave comments to many of them =(

open air theatres in general are great, tomorrow night i'll be watching 'hell' movie - looking forward to it.
