City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Archeological Park

This shot is from the opening night of the Archeological Park, the opening was postponed on Sunday 27th of August and finally it has been opened tonight by our mayor Jasmin Imamovic.
Here you can see settlers 'living' on the Panonic Sea in perehistoric times, and in the background are the stilt houses they lived in – the Archeological Park. There is a believe that first stilt houses in Europe were built in this region.

There were 150 artists in the opening show, folk artists, dancers....
It was a family gathering for me and I enjoyed it very much.
