City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

New MUP facade

Continuing with buildings undergoing renovation today I present you with work in progress on the Ministry of Internal Affairs building.

On the right hand side of this building there is an attached building where you could get a passport, driving licence, identification card… oh, now they're issued in the building of the main post office. So you know just in case.

Hey Jazzy, make sure you put Melbourne on your list if you are actully travelling to Australia.

Do all your buildings have glad wrap on them ?

Was this building that gray color before? This was definitely a change for the better.

The sculpture is interesting (and don’t tell me that is just a piece of construction equipment!).

thanx all for following my new facades series =)

John - yea most of them have glad-saran wrap around them hehe

Juggerpix - yes most of the buildings were dark gray and damaged form the recent war so the mayor is really doing a great job by giving a new colorful face to the city canter.

Hehe that's a memorial monument, glad you like it.

Tanty, Kate - we'll keep you posted =)
