City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Summer flowers


I saw these flowers on my way back from jogging and couldn’t resist coming back to take a picture.

Lovely lighting! The hydrangias are in full bloom here in Seattle, too. I love the subtle variation in color from petal to petal. Thanks for going back for this one!

Gah! I feel like everyone has hydrangeas but us here in south Texas! These are my favorite flowers, but I've never lived anywhere where they really grew outside. :(

The lilac color is very pretty on these. :)
