City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Very good photos! Everyone of them has a story to tell and Tuzla seems to be a beautiful place. Pity that most Europeans think of Bosnia as a place of war and horror and cannot look at the raw beaty which is present everywhere. I like your blog, I like the city as you show it to us. Well done and keep up!

Thank you all for your kind response.

Tanty, o yes the Frank Sinatra song, I forgotten completely, thanks for reminding me

here are the words because it's a really lovely song:

Three coins in a fountain
Each one seeking happiness
Thrown by three hopeful lovers
Which one will the fountain bless

Three hearts it a fountain
Each heart longing for its home
There they lie in the fountain
Somewhere in the heart of Rome

Which one will the fountain bless
Which one will the fountain bless

Three coins in a fountain
Through the ripples how they shine
Just one wish will be granted
One heart will wear a valentine

Make it mine, make it mine, make it mine

Thanks for the fountain! I tried to toss a quarter in, but it just bounced off the monitor. :)
