City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Red house

Few years back you'd never thought Tuzla can be so colourful, people are changing the face of the city in a better direction, I think.

sometimes things need to be spicen up, red is a great way forward..i like it!

It is bright and vivid. I, too, think colour used well is an improvement over sedate and drab!

That is really a red, red. Not sure I like it so intense. It doesn't leave much room for the imagination.

I didn't do much today but...

I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

Most of Breton houses have white walls and dark blue roof (made of slates), but we begin to see some of them yellow, blue or pink, especially in islands where winter is quite long and rainy. Like in your photo, I think it can be really nice!
