City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Statue or Kip(ovi)

Franjo Leder is Tuzla's most famous sculptor. He created every major sculpture in Tuzla including famous Statues or Kipovi on one of Tuzla’s bridges (there’re 4 of the statues, one on each side of the bridge). Each statue carries large lump of salt on their shoulders, as one of the symbols of Tuzla.
Sculptures were his gift to the city.
