City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Chilli forest

I have been growing my chillies for a couple of months now and as you can see they are quite tall, but they just refuse to flower, so no chillies.
I sowed 4 different kinds of chillies and it's amazing none of them wants to flower, it’s just a forest of nice green leafs now..

Well, the green may not be edible, but it makes a pretty picture. Perhaps some gardener will tell you what's wrong.

Oh don't worry...they will flower soon :)

My mom used to tell me to talk to my plants so they will give me flowers...you can try that route too :)

Kate - greens are lovely to look at, but I wouldn't mind if a few chillies appeared along the way, never mind.
Anne - If the flowers don't appear any time soon I will have to start talking to them.

Why do they call them chillies if they are so hot?

Sorry, old joke.

Chillies or no, still nice greenery!

Chilis need lots of sun - you could try pinching them back too. What kind are they - the leaves don't look like the ones I grow!

I would be more than thrilled if my chilli forest starts to blossom, I will certainly keep you posted. I sowed 4 kinds of chillies, small red chillies, green long ones, green small ones and red small but rounded ones.

I was given seeds but something is wrong with them, they are on my kitchen window and it’s very sunny in the morning, very warm, I water them every day but still only leafs are advancing.. We’ll see what happens.

Thanks to all for support =)
