City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

This takes me back - this stall was at the bottom of our road when we were living in Tuzla. I miss it still! an ex Brit in Bosnia.

The photo was taken sometime in September so at the moment the cabbage is the most popular vegetable along with seasonal apples, pears, oranges...
