City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

On the corner

It looks like there's a lot of new building in a pastiche style. What sort of effect does that have on the experience of living in Tuzla? Does it preserve the feel of the town or does it feel ungenuine?

I like this building. I wonder if a staircase is behind the corner windows.

Are there apts above what looks like balconies? The barred windows on the street floor make it appear to be a bank, but it doesn't otherwise have a commercial feel to it.

My camera is still in the repair shop, but I'm using my son's point-and-shoot Canon. I am also using patience!!
