City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Does the saltiness mean that they don't need to add chlorine bleach?

yes they will add chlorine bleach, probably because it's going to be a small salty lake with not enough salt for disinfection.
thats interesting that a lake is built - or is it that this will be a swimming pool hmmm I cannot imagine a built lake. I guess i will have to wait till summer to see how it looks like!
Is there a stream which will feed the lake? When I have seen man made lake before I have noticed that it sometimes takes quite a while for them to fill with water.
