City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Phone box

I wander for how long phone boxes are going to be around?!

I see very few public phones in my city anymore because cell phones and text messages have replaced them. The phone in your photo is quite modern!

Yes, there are few public phones in the Boston area, which is a shame. Not everyone has a cell phone and a battery can always die.

Interesting looking public phone. It doesn't look rugged enough to stand up to a lot of use.

We have to "memorize" these strange boxes for the future.

I guess that with the phone line already there, if they convert them into wifi base stations together with the phone, the phone company can deploy a wifi service very quickly around the city.

wonder why they are not doing that.

the yellow in the phone looks striking :-)
