City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Reminds me of the piles of shoes used for the landmines campaign, when Bosnia, Afghanistan and Angola were highlighted as the three countries worst affected by the scourge of landmines. This year is the tenth anniversary of the Landmines Treaty (September).
