City on a grain of salt. Tuzla means a place of salt and it lays on top of the salt lake. It is suspected it has been there for around 7000 years as one of the oldest places in Europe.

Quirky shop
American flag, a picture of an old Communist president Tito and a shop where you get your keys cut. It makes me smile every time I pass by. Have a smiley weekend. Lilly
I think I know this shop. It's in Slatina 14. Isn't it?
Funy thing is that the warning "entrance strictly forbidden for nationalists" is written both in latin and cyrillic. Btw who is the guy on the paintings below Tito? Former Tuzla mayor Beslagic?

TITO Was great MAN!!! I wish we have someone like him, someone that will help our country to be better and strong again. Someone that will end all this political power trip.Belieave me I know how much I appriciate Tuzla, specialy now when I am far away and can see from diffrent prospective what is going on. Everyone have a great day and ALOHA from Hawaii, Happy tuzla'a Girl BTW, Lilly this is really good one you posted today.
Thank you for your comments on my theme day photo. I had not heard of Tuzla before now. The Bosnia shoe post gave me a hint. Then I did a search to be certain! I learned something today! Looks like an interesting place!

ReplyDeleteVery interesting composition Lilly. Photographically , I like all the squares of color and textures. Good shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful array of contrasts.
ReplyDeleteThe juxtaposition of these items probably could be a prop for a mystery story.
